The SMOVE is an active patient lift (standing lift), providing the patient with comfortable support to get them from a seated to an upright position. Encouraging their own capabilities and the standing function are important aspects. The standing position facilitates care that is needed, for example, when the patient has to go to the toilet or whose incontinence material requires changing. The SMOVE has electrically adjustable legs that can be spread apart and a height-adjustable lifting arm. The touch&move driving support makes working with the patient lift even more effortless, easier and less stressful. This is a smart solution for tackling physical stresses and strains, reducing the risk of physical complaints.
The active patient lift is suitable for patients who are unable to stand up independently but who nevertheless have some trunk balance. They should also be able to support themselves on their own legs, have a good shoulder function and be able to follow instructions from the caregiver. The SMOVE can be used together with an active patient sling, such as a back support sling or corset sling.
The SMOVE patient lift has touch&move driving support as standard. This is a unique, intuitive electrically powered drive that makes working with a patient lift easier and more pleasant. The push bar of a patient lift with touch&move driving assist has sensors that measure the magnitude and direction of the force exerted on it. A gentle push against the bar is enough to set the additional wheel under the patient lift in motion, either forwards, backwards or sideways. That may sound technical but using it is very intuitive. Read more about touch&move here.
New: the direct feedback feature on the operating panel enables you to check whether the patient lift is being used correctly. And off you go - no problem!
The SMOVE has a clip-on lifting arm as standard. An active patient sling with clips can be fixed to the attachment points on the lifting arm. The lifting arm can be operated with the separate manual control or using the control panel on the push bar.
When patient slings with loops are being used, the SMOVE can be fitted with a lifting arm with loop attachments. This lifting arm has clip attachment points to which the loops of the patient sling can fastened. The adjustments that are possible are the same as for the lifting arm with the clip-on attachment.
